Idea Alchemist.
Hey, I’m Mark. You’re probably wondering how I got here.
I’ve always believed that creativity and science are two sides of the same coin. Growing up in an academic household, I developed a love for both the structured and the imaginative. This unique perspective allows me to blend scientific thinking with creativity, enabling me to design engaging, impactful experiences based on real consumer insights.
With over a decade of experience across marketing and product design, I specialize in crafting compelling narratives that drive brand growth and customer engagement. I excel in translating consumer insights into actionable strategies, from digital channels to product experiences, all while balancing creativity with a data-driven approach.
My deep understanding of marketing—spanning digital strategy, funnel alignment, and media optimization—combined with my creative instincts and attention to detail, makes me an invaluable asset to any team. I don’t just design, I solve problems and create solutions that resonate with people.
Throughout my career, I’ve led both agency and in-house teams, fostering a culture of creativity and high performance. Whether it’s driving major rebrands or launching global campaigns, I take pride in delivering exceptional results that exceed expectations. I've had the privilege to collaborate on diverse projects across industries like financial services, automotive, healthcare, and tech—each offering unique challenges that have pushed me to continuously grow.
The Individual.
Professional skills are great, but at the end of the day, we’re all individuals. Having lived on the North Carolina coast and nestled up against the Rockies in Denver, Colorado, I have an innate connection to the outdoors and the activities it offers — scuba diving, surfing, rock climbing, and back-country skiing, to name a few. I am also a husband to an incredible wife and father to a beautiful little girl and two dogs. Add in my creative outlets of playing drums and household DIY projects and my free-time activities of riding motorcycles and weekends with friends, and you get a snapshot of the man behind the screen.
If you’ve made it this far…
Think you can separate fact from fiction? Two truths and a lie. What do you think?

This one is true! My old band, Broken English, did a few small East-coast tours from 2010-2012.

This is the lie! I was going to thru-hike the "AT" the summer my wife, Margaret, and I met - love got in the way (definitely for the better). Although I have not hiked the whole thing, I have backpacked many sections.

This one is true! In 2012, a photography studio I was working for hosted a regional casting call for ANTM and I was picked to be a judge for contestants to move to the next round.
